FLETCHER ROAD is a Vermont-based creative Architecture, Interiors & Decorative Arts studio founded in 2019 by Kate Swanson.
Her design direction is both opulent and enduring. Her studio is a collected workshop to build, test, and advance her work. The studio creates highly detailed models of all its projects, down to the custom pieces. These handmade & digital visuals function as a living sketchbook, resisting rigidity and influence for something more emotive. Inspired by history and contemporary culture, the tension of pre and post-internet artistry, her work merges modernist principles with traditional craftsmanship.
Her process responds to each project with openness and curiosity, research and consideration, joining with local artisans and craftspeople to tell an authentic story. The studio’s holistic approach encompasses architecture, interiors, and the decorative arts, across residential and commercial disciplines, from thoughtful refinement to total reimagination.
